MaxJaarte

Max Jaarte is a Helsinki-based DJ who has recently played regularly around his home city at DIY parties and clubs such as Kaiku, Post Bar and Ääniwalli. An affiliate of Changeless’s experimental electronic music collective, Jaarte’s approach to DJing is fervorous and genre-agnostic. His sound is forged from sub-shattering bass mutations and fragmented vocal experiments to stormy club excursions providing versatile rhythms that work on the dancefloor. Jaarte played his first DJ gigs at local punk shows, and he channels his ardour for diverse musical expression also through his work behind the scenes for the beloved local venue Ääniwalli.
