Mr. A has been a solid fixture in Helsinki’s queer nightlife since the 1990s. Shaping the local scene through clubs like Nylon, Kerma, and DTM, and through recent club nights at H2O2, Ääniwalli, and Siltanen, he has stayed in step with the evolving rhythms of LGBTQI++ culture, constantly reinventing himself while nurturing new generations of dancers and night creatures.
His DJ sets are known for their deep emotional resonance and dance floor energy, blending deep house, disco, progressive, tribal, and after-hours techno. Mr.A has also spread his underground energy beyond Helsinki, DJ’ing across the globe in London, Sydney, Chicago, Berlin, and beyond. His studio productions include the underground anthem Homofaggot, as well as remixes for Yoko Ono and Fischerspooner.
