These Terms & Conditions (“Conditions”) apply to all persons who purchase, hold, use or attempt to use a ticket and/or wristband (“Customer”) to the Flow Festival (“Festival”) organised by Flow Festival Oy (“Festival Organiser”).
By purchasing a ticket or entering the Festival area (“Festival Area”), the Customer agrees to be bound by these Conditions.
1. Entrance Requirements
The Customer must present a valid ticket on entry to the Festival Area.
Upon admission, the ticket will be exchanged for an official Festival wristband.
The Festival Organiser is not responsible for, and cannot guarantee the validity of, tickets purchased from unauthorised agents, resellers, or third parties.
Entry times may be restricted. Any such restrictions will be communicated in advance, for example via the Festival’s official website and/or social media channels.
Entry to the Festival is strictly limited to persons aged 18 or over. Exceptions (such as designated family or youth events) will be clearly communicated in advance.
The Customer must present a valid photo ID (such as a passport, identity card or driver’s licence) upon request to verify age. Breach of the age restrictions results in refusal of entry or removal from the Festival Area without refund.
2. Purchase and Handling of Tickets and Wristbands
Tickets are for personal use only, and must not be sold or transferred for a higher price than the official sales price. Tickets may only be transferred if all of the following conditions are met: (a) the transfer is not made for commercial gain; (b) the ticket is not advertised for sale; and (c) the recipient agrees to these Conditions in full.
Resale of tickets in breach of these Conditions, offering tickets for resale, or commercial exploitation of tickets is prohibited, and may result in cancellation of the ticket without refund and/or refusal of entry or removal from the Festival Area.
Tickets may not be used for advertising, competitions, as raffle prizes, or for other commercial purposes without the Festival Organiser’s prior written consent.
The Festival Organiser may set a maximum number of tickets available for purchase per transaction and reserves the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this limit.
The Festival Organiser bears no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged tickets or wristbands.
Wristbands must be worn on the wrist for the full duration of the Festival.
Wristbands that are removed, tampered with or damaged will be invalid and will not be replaced. Sharing wristbands is prohibited.
Entry without a valid wristband is prohibited.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except as expressly set out in Section 5 (Cancellation and Refunds) of these Conditions.
3. Behaviour, Safety and Prohibited Items
The Customer must at all times follow the instructions of Festival staff and security personnel and adhere to the Festival Organiser’s rules for behaviour and safety.
Items and conduct prohibited at the Festival include drones, dangerous items, illegal substances, and access to restricted or staff-only areas. Prohibited items may not be taken to the Festival Area. The Festival reserves the right to conduct security searches of persons and belongings upon entry and exit, and within the Festival Area.
The Festival staff and security personnel will make the final decisions on whether an item or conduct is prohibited at the Festival Area. Violations may result in refusal of entry or immediate removal from the Festival Area without refund.
Alcohol may only be consumed in accordance with applicable law and the Festival’s policies. Proof of age may be required.
In case of exceptional circumstances, such as security related incidents or public health circumstances such as a pandemic, the Festival Organiser reserves the right to introduce, amend or remove health and security related measures. Such measures may include refusing entry to the Festival Area or removing a Customer or Customers from the Festival Area without refund, subject to mandatory applicable law.
Strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke effects and loud music may be in use.
4. Changes to Programme
Flow Festival is a multi-act event. Line-ups, performance times and site layout may change. The Festival Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme, schedules or other details of the Festival, or delay showtimes as needed. Such changes do not entitle the Customer to a refund or a price reduction, unless such refund or price reduction is based on mandatory law.
Changes will be communicated via the Festival’s official website and/or social media channels.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
In the event of full or partial cancellation or interruption of the Festival, whether prior to commencement or during the Festival, the Customer shall be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
If the Festival is rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new dates. If the Customer cannot attend, they may request a refund of the official sales price of the ticket.
The Festival takes place in all weather conditions, subject to this Section 6 of these Conditions. Adverse weather, including heat, rain, or wind, does not entitle Customer to a refund, price reduction, or other form of compensation.
In the event of full or partial cancellation or interruption of the Festival resulting from circumstances beyond the control of the Festival Organiser, the Customer is not entitled refunds or price reductions, unless such refund or price reduction is based on mandatory law. The applicable ticket refund and compensation policy will be communicated separately in detail in each case.
6. Liability
Festival Organiser’s total liability is limited to the official sales price of the ticket, except where mandatory Finnish law provides otherwise.
The Festival Organiser is not liable for indirect losses, such as travelling to and from the Festival Area, parking, accommodation, or other additional costs and expenses incurred by the Customer.
The Festival Organiser is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
7. Filming, Photography and Camera Surveillance
Unauthorised professional recording equipment, such as drones and action cameras are prohibited.
Camera surveillance may be in use for safety and crime prevention, subject to applicable law.
The Festival Organiser and its authorised partners may photograph, film, or otherwise record content at the Festival Area and in connection with the Festival. Such material may be used in connection with coverage, promotion and communication of the Festival worldwide, subject to mandatory applicable laws.
8. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Festival’s Privacy Policy, available on the Festival’s official website.
9. Disabled Access and Assistance
The Festival welcomes attendees with disabilities and accessibility needs. For individual assistance or enquiries, please contact: office@flowfestival.com.
10. Amendments to These Conditions
The Festival Organiser reserves the right to amend these Conditions at any time, subject to mandatory applicable law.
Material changes affecting Customer’s rights will be communicated where required.

11. Governing Law
These Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Finnish courts. The Customer also has the right to submit a complaint to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta), in accordance with applicable Finnish law.
