Paris-based Anetha is a trained architect, but since 2012, she has dedicated herself to music as a DJ, producer, founder of the record label Mama Told Ya, and co-founder of the talent agency Mama Loves Ya. She began her career in Paris as a co-founder of Blocaus party series and label, and since then she has DJ’d around Europe in Berghain, Ibiza’s Amnesia, and a row of major festivals, as well as in Australasia and the Americas.
Anetha trusts in bouncy basslines, stomping kick drums, glorious melodies, and melancholic motifs, transmitting textures of techno, trance, and experimental music. Her awaited debut album, Mothearth, was released in 2024 and featured lyrical themes of ecological awareness, femininity, toxic masculinity, and the downsides of the music industry. The artist conveys these themes with playfulness and a touch of irony.
