Chargie is a Helsinki-based DJ specialising in tropical party music. Chargie’s sets focus heavily on dancehall and reggae, but his repertoire also extends to African sounds, reggaeton, R&B, and rap. DJ’ing since 2011, Chargie has performed at clubs and festivals across Finland and opened for major international artists. He currently holds residencies at the club night Bashment Yard at Kuudes linja and Reggae United club at Ääniwalli. In 2025, Chargie joined Lion Head Sound, Finland’s longest-running active sound system, as a third member alongside Fadda Francis and Rumpunch. The collective boasts most likely the most extensive collection of custom dubplates in the country.
