Berlin-based DJ Gigola is one of the most interesting contemporary electronic music DJs, with her genre-crossing, diverse sets. She experiences music primarily through its rhythmic structure, so her DJ’ing shows a deep understanding of rhythm and groove, a curiosity to try new things, and a wide knowledge of various genres and eras of electronic music. She might mix techno, trance, and tech house with various pop songs in one DJ set.
DJ Gigola has played in electronic music clubs and festivals around the world for years, and recently she has toured intensively in Europe, North America and Australia. Her multifaceted creativity is witnessed through her membership of the artist collective Life from Earth and in her own music. She has released effective hard techno, but her debut album, Fluid Meditations, released in 2023, consisted of ambient music with ASMR sounds.
