Lara Silva has been one of the familiar faces in the DJ booths of Helsinki’s electronic music clubs such as Ääniwalli, Kaiku, and Post Bar for years. Her techno-based DJ sets have dangerous, yet playful energy, and she brings a sound fueled by freedom, tension, and full-body release. Having also performed at Flow Festival several times, Lara Silva is a proud resident of the Korgy queer collective, DJing regularly at their events. Last year, she played abroad with the other collective members at the Den Anden Side club in Copenhagen and the KitKat club in Berlin. In Helsinki, she has also recently DJ’d at the popular Trance Bar club nights at Post Bar.
