Helsinki-based DJs Ozan and Katerina are residents at the club Kaiku, where they DJ together at the Pearl nights they curate. Finnish-Bulgarian Katerina has been working in the local electronic music scene since the late 2000s as a DJ, producer, and programmer for various clubs. Currently, she works on the Kaiku program. As a producer, Katerina draws from a wide range of genres, from G-funk to ambient, house, and techno. She runs the labels Émotsiya and Kotarak and has released music on several acclaimed international labels, including Running Back and REKIDS.
Turkish-born Ozan is a queer DJ and pharmacist, specialising in hypnotic techno and in the exploration and mixing of experimental sounds in the club environment, as well as in his Pearl Rush show on IDA Radio Helsinki. Outside Helsinki, he curates the Defragged Sessions club in Istanbul, and he has also recently played in Germany.
