Sgamo is an Italian DJ who was raised between the suburban rave and hip-hop scenes of Bari, and later he became a prominent figure in Milan’s underground nightlife. Sgamo has built an international reputation through bass-driven DJ sets, a deeply DIY approach and community-led projects such as wegoing.sound, the platform behind the first Italian takeover of Rinse FM. Blending bass music, club hybrids and worldwide influences, his sets have taken him from Fabric in London to Circus in Tokyo, alongside festival appearances at Sziget Festival, Clockenflap, and Love Saves The Day. Sgamo is a DJ who uses bass music as a bridge between different cultures and moves through borders in his sets, and this attitude has led to an international career.
