Flow Festival’s X Garden ignites with electronic music and club energy

23. JUNE 2026

Flow Festival’s popular X Garden club concept brings together a unique electronic music program hosted by three distinct collectives. Friday is curated by DJ Kaero’s boundary-pushing club concept, Alternate Frequency. On Saturday, the much-loved I Wanna Dance With SomBadi takes over the dancefloor, while Sunday channels the energy of live dancehall and Jamaican rhythms courtesy of Street Vyybz.

On Friday 14 August, X Garden is hosted by Alternate Frequency, where each DJ and artist approaches electronic music from their own singular angle. Berlin underground favourites Meg10 and Luca Eck play a back-to-back set, while London-based acts dogheadsurigeri, known for blending fast techno with euphoric trance in a distinctive way, and PLUSHB4BY, co-founder of the queer collective Hypoxia, bring their fierce creative energy to Flow. Amsterdam-based DIORA also joins the lineup with a hypnotic fusion of techno, bass, trance and experimental club sounds.

Alternate Frequency’s curator Kaero, whose background spans Helsinki’s underground as well as scenes in The Hague and Berlin, brings in a combination of high energy with the current sounds and experimental fringes of today’s club culture. Local highlights on Friday include Clavert, drawing on a new-wave rap aesthetic, rising DJ Itseasias, and HEL:BOUNCE, whose sound flirts with Latincore, hardgroove and all things bounce-driven.

On Saturday, 15 August, X Garden hands over to I Wanna Dance With SomBadi, the Helsinki club concept curated by DJ and producer SomBadi. The program features Antídoto, a Madrid-based concept deeply rooted in contemporary culture, alongside Swedish DJs Fanny Vilhelmsson and Benjamin Baniassadi, who together bring versatility and energy to the stage. Saturday also sees performances from Tokyo-born Riria and Milan-based Sgamo, known for blending bass-heavy club genres. The lineup is topped off by a joint performance from SomBadi and rising rap star Davy, as well as sets from Elly, a Finnish artist currently shaping her sound in Cape Verde, and Helsinki nightlife veteran Herkules – all guaranteed to keep the energy high.

On Sunday, 16 August, X Garden fills with the vibrant rhythms and infectious energy of the Street Vyybz collective. The stage hosts DJ TEV, one of Sweden’s most sought-after Caribbean music DJs, bringing strong Jamaican energy, alongside London-based DJ Kemarr, known for seamlessly blending musical worlds. Also performing are VG+ from Helsinki’s Komposti Sound, a staple of reggae and dancehall parties; the dancefloor-driven Wekesa, and Chargie, specialising in tropical club sounds. Completing the lineup are Laura Lazor, delivering authentic dancehall vibes, Helsinki reggae pioneer Fadda Francis, and host of the day, MC 1Black Prince.

Flow Festival takes place in Helsinki, Finland, 14–16 August 2026. See the program here.
